3. Trans women are not men dancing in high heels an make up.. You may be thinking of drag queens, in which case, sort out your terminology.

Shes not trying to be rude. Shes try to say that unusual people make life interesting. That shes jealous of transgendered women look so good. not everyone has an mtf or fm friend to teach them the right terms or phrases. who knew tranny wasnt politically appropriate until someone told them it was offensive. we still use retard and midget even thought they are P.C. but i swear transgendered people freak the fuck out over words. Call me a fag or a dyke and i say “LOL I know right?” Call a transgendered person a tranny and they fucking flip their top. Chill out people. To ke$ha all the good people are freaks. Shes a freak. stop getting so goddamn offended.

Just because Ke$ha thinks being a freak is a good thing doesn’t mean that people want to be lumped into that cateegory simply because because she has a stereotypical, one sided view of transexuals/drag queens/cross dressers/whoever she is calling a tranny.  The transexual community is one that is called freaks derisvely for their entire lives and is denied work, friends, and acceptance beacuse of it.  Why would they not be offended if someone who is supposed to be an ally to the gay community is also calling them that?

Secondly, Ke$ha’s view of “trannies” is unbelievably one sided, saying they are all hyperfeminine and make her want to be a “better woman.”  I’m not going to delve into the problematic nature of the phrase “better woman” as it relates to gender expression, because the sentiment is also problematic in the way it marginalizes non-feminine ‘trannies.”  The same is true when people say that gay men all love to shop, or are skinny, or have great style or are airheaded or are slutty.  Transgendered people are not all the same say in the same way that gay men or lesbians or bisexuals or straight people are not one dimensional, uniform   carbon copies.  Ke$ha is dehumanizing and deindividualizing transgendered individuals, and straight people read this and believe what she portrays them to be like because she claims to be knowledgeable.

Lastly, she de-personalizes her “tranny bffs” by casting them in the same mold and states that the reason she likes them is because theyre unusual and make her want to be something different.  I don’t know about you, but I usually choose my companions based on individual personal traits rather than blanket statements about people in the same category as them.  To her, the “trannies” in her life are easily exchangeable and replaceable.

Yes, I know shes Ke$sha and has an image of being sells her image of being a fucking ignorant partygirl and that’s why shes famous, but that doesn’t make it okay.
